Met a handyman, Jerry Zamora.  He gave me a very reasonable quote to do some repairs in my home. He removed and replaced a few sheets of panelling for me and did some updating work in my bathroom.Jerry likes to help people and wants to get established with folks in the area.  He is a carpenter by trade, but skilled with other crafts as well.
